 outline handbikers‘Breaking Limits’ – Handbiking contest – 1st and 3rd July

“Breaking Limits – Handbiking Contest 2009″ is a sports project for physically  handicapped children. In a two day event participants will take part in sportiv activity on “handbikes” – bycicles especially designed for handicapped people.

Through sports, the project aims to encourage teamwork amongst the youngsters and to show them their possibilities instead of their limitations. I want to stimulate a positive way of seeing their lives and shift their focus from what they can’t to what they can do. It is important to know that you’re not powerless but that you are able to break through those obstacles and improve your life.

I’ve experienced how important this was for myself as I also have a handicap.
Thus I want to create a project that helps children sharing the same situation
